As part of my ongoing battle against anxiety and depression I spoke on Wednesday to a lovely person from Talking Matters Northumberland. We talked through my current situation and possible therapies which could help before deciding upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a good route to go down.

I'm now on the waiting list for that. They reckon it will be up to 18 weeks before therapy starts but at least I'm on the path now.

I don't know if CBT will work but I'll never know if I don't try and after spending most of my life depressed, anxious or both it would be a pleasant change to feel settled in my mind for a change.

So, I'll keep writing, look forward to the CBT and wish peace and love to anyone reading this.
