Love in a dream

I fell in love in a dream last night.

Enfolded into a warm embrace.

As I slept, someone, half recognized

Came to me and brought love and comfort.

An amalgam of lost loves, lost chances of love

Coalesced into an ideal, a wish perhaps.

A wish from my subconscious mind

Telling me everything will be alright

And settling on me a calm solace

To ease the rigors of the world
