Watching the grass grow

I'm sitting at my computer and looking out of the window at the rain falling and the grass growing while trying to get some inspiration for a poem. I think I may have an idea. So that's today's job, write an ode to the growing grass. Wordsworth, look out.

"I sat around a bit on my own watching the grass grow before my eyes"- a good start, no?

In other news I sent off some poems to a publisher the other week and hadn't heard back so I thought they had just binned them and weren't answering. Today though I had an email from them saying they were being sent to their editorial committee and that I should hear back in about 6 weeks. I don't know if they'll like them but I live in hope. If not, I'll keep on trying until someone shows some discernment and offers to publish.

On a slightly different subject, the new dose of drugs have taken effect and I'm feeling much more comfortable in myself, so that's good. Once I get into the CBT programme I hope to wean myself off them and feel less Bleeargh! and Arrrrgh! all the time.

And on that note, I'm off to write the poem.

Peace and love, ttfn
