As Christmas Day charges towards us like a herd of wild buffalo I hope everyone has a happy and peaceful holiday season.

I'm pretty sure this year has passed by more quickly than ever but maybe it's just because I'm getting older.

It seems like only yesterday that I moved to Amble/Broomhill. In fact it was 7 years ago, time flies for sure.

So with a new year fast approaching (and a new decade depending upon how you calculate it) it's time for resolutions. My only ones are to make my best efforts to get my poetry published, be kind and give more to charity. Not that I'm trying to be a saint or anything, I just want to be as good a person as I can be.

And with that I'll leave you all to enjoy the festivities and wish you all a happy new year.

Peace and love, ttfn
